A huge success for our ‘Enduro veteran’ Willy Stricker

16-18/10/2026

Following his success at the Italian Championships, Willy Stricker also finished second in Finale Ligure, thereby becoming runner-up in the Masters 6 age group at the World Championships

Who would have thought it – Willy himself, of all people, probably least of all.

After the highlight of the season for our enduro riders (the Italian MTB Enduro Championships on 19 and 20 September 2026 in Lizzano di Belvedere (BO)), Willy wasn’t ready to put his bike into storage just yet, and decided on the spur of the moment – as the only member of the Dynamic Bike Enduro Crew – to travel to Finale Ligure (SV) for the 2026 UCI MTB Enduro/E-Enduro World Championships, which fortunately took place this year in the aforementioned town.

The four stages, with a total length of 53 kilometres and just over 1,500 metres of vertical ascent and descent, demanded everything from the competitors. Willy performed quite well in all four runs and held his position from the first stage right through to the finish – and can now call himself MTB Enduro Vice-World Champion in the Master 6 age group… Congratulations Willy, what a stunning season!
