South Tyrolean MTB race series for licensed riders from the age of 13 - open to all categories.

The MTB Raiffeisen Südtirol Cup is an MTB race series for licensed riders from the age of 13, and is open to all categories.
The series comprises various races in the cross-country, 4-cross and uphill disciplines and is mainly held in South Tyrol and neighbouring Trentino.

REGLEMENT

The MTB RAIFFEISEN SÜDTIROL CUP 2023 consists of 5 races of the discipline XCO (Cross Country).

For each individual event, points will be awarded for the first 15 finishers in each age group:

The individual and team scores will be compiled taking into account the sum of all the results achieved in the various disciplines.
The team rankings will be divided into the following categories:
- General team ranking of the clubs
- Team ranking by youth categories (Esordienti and Allievi m/f)
- Team ranking by international categories and
- Team ranking by amateur categories
In order to participate in the final ranking, one must have participated in 3 of the 5 events scheduled in the calendar; in case of cancellation of an event, participation must be 3 out of 4, 3 out of 3, etc..
In the event of a tie, the placing in the final will be used for ranking purposes.

Participation:
The athletes registered with the FCI + the master categories of the sports promotion organisations recognised by the FCI + all foreign athletes within the limits set by the federal regulations (see federciclismo.it) are eligible to participate.

Equipment:

The wearing of a homologated safety helmet is compulsory, also during training/warm-up. Those who do not do so will be excluded from the races.

Approved categories:

Esordienti m/f (divided into 2 years); Allievi m/f (divided into 2 years); Juniores m/f; U23 m/f; Elite m/f; Master m/f all categories.

Registration fee:

In order to participate in the individual and club classification of the MTB RAIFFEISEN SÜDTIROL CUP 2022, an entry fee must be paid.
For all categories Youth m/f, Juniors m/f, U23 m/f, Elite m/f the entry fee for each race is € 10,- per participant.
For all amateur categories Master m/f the entry fee for each race is € 15,- per participant.
Clubs participating in an event for the first time must indicate whether they will participate in the final rankings and pay the entry fee for each athlete.

Protest:

This must be submitted in writing to the Jury within 30 minutes of the scores being posted, with a fee of € 50,00, which will be refunded if the appeal is upheld.

Registrations:

Entries must be received exclusively via the federal computer system (K-Sport "fattore k") in accordance with the procedures laid down in the national regulations. No entries will be accepted after the specified closing date. No late registration possible on site!

Awards:

The award ceremony of the respective race, for which the specifications/tables according to the regulations are always to be applied, will be held on site at the end of each event.
The final prize-giving ceremony of the MTB RAIFFEISEN SÜDTIROL CUP 2023 will take place during the traditional year-end event of the South Tyrol Committee. Material prizes and cash prizes will be awarded. For the cash prizes, a collection deadline of 30 days from the prize-giving ceremony applies; all uncollected funds will be retained.
