6. Wilder Kaiser MTB Race

Tough battle for Julia Kostner at the 6th Wilder Kaiser MTB Race in Scheffau, Tyrol (AUT). After the heavy rainfall during the week, the race Sunday remained dry, but the course was a little bumpy and slippery, and therefore technically very challenging.
There were 5 laps on the programme for the cross country race, which started at 10.45 am. Julia was in the leading group right from the start, but had to slow down a little after the halfway point and manage her strength. She was able to hold her position until the finish and finished the race in just over an hour in 4th place (girls U17).
