17th Granfondo Liotto – Cittá di Valdagno

Last weekend saw the 17th edition of the Granfondo Liotto, the season-opening race for our adult road cyclists. Around 1,500 athletes gathered at the start line in Valdagno (VI) on Sunday 12 April, and under glorious spring sunshine they tackled one of the two routes.

The Dynamic Bike Team riders split up as follows: Armin, Luca and Thomas opted for the short route, whilst Nikolaus, Richard, Walter and Luca took on – as they did last year – the Granfondo with its 132 km and 2,300 metres of elevation gain. And it was Nikolaus Bernard who proved the fastest of his teammates, managing to secure a podium finish in his category. In the shorter Mediofondo, the internal battle was won by ‘veteran’ Armin Tschigg, who finished in an excellent 11th place in his category.
