Dynamic Bike Team – Whitsun trip to Jesolo

Although the Rolle Pass (1,970 m) was still covered in a light layer of snow, we weren’t put off and set off as a group of ten on Friday 2 June 2006 towards Jesolo.
The descent to S. Martino di Castrozza was icy, but fortunately the weather gods were on our side and sent us sunshine, which then warmed us as we rode across the plain. Once we arrived in Jesolo, we spent two relaxing days enjoying a delicious fish dinner, plenty of ice cream and, on Sunday, even a day on the beach in deckchairs.
We headed back on Monday, taking the planned route via the Passo San Pellegrino. At first, there were a few voices against this route, as it is quite challenging. After all, the Passo San Pellegrino has gradients of up to 18 per cent. But in the end, everyone was glad to have done this lovely ride; the valley before the climb is simply too beautiful to miss.
In summary: a successful trip that gives us hope of repeating it next year.
