The young Dynamic Bikers are really going for it!

There’s currently a real buzz of excitement amongst the young riders of the Dynamic Bike Team. They’re taking part in numerous racing events and putting in some impressive performances.

On 20 May 2006, Ruben Tutzer competed in his first MTB World Cup race (*) in Spa (Belgium) and, under extremely difficult conditions, finished in an excellent 64th place.

On 27 May 2006, the four-man bike team took part in the MTB South Tyrol Cup in Sarnthein. There, Leo Jocher rode an outstanding race and crossed the finish line in an excellent third place. Ruben Tutzer came sixth. Hannes Gius and Andreas Hanni had to contend with a few technical problems but rode determinedly to the finish.

The Regional Uphill Championship took place in Naturns on 2 June 2006. Many Dynamic Bikers took part in this race. Ruben Tutzer finished the race as runner-up in his category, beaten only by the outstanding Sebastian Bertoli from Bolzano.

At the Regional Championships in Cavrasto (TN), Leo Jocher and Hannes Gius celebrated a commanding one-two finish in their category, with Jocher taking first place and Gius second. Just one second separated the pair at the finish line.

(*) The races were held in extremely muddy and difficult conditions, which is why cycling media often referred to the event as the ‘Soggy Slug Fest’:
