6th IRT International Cycling Marathon Tyrol 2006 in Schwaz (AUT)

On 3 September 2006, the 6th IRT Cycle Marathon, covering 98 km and 750 metres of elevation gain, took place in Schwaz, Austria.
Despite a headwind, the pace was fast right from the start; the leading group crossed the finish line in 2:19.40 h (winning time) at an average speed of 42 km/h. Among the 223 riders taking part were nine Dynamic Bikers, who achieved good results.
Richard Palma won the Men’s 4 category, whilst the “Dynamic Bike 1” team came third in the team classification.

With the IRT race now complete, all races in the internal Dynamic Bike Cup 2006 series have been held. Oskar Pittracher leads the points standings with 94 points and is therefore also the new 2006 club champion, followed by Armin Tschigg with 89 points and Franz Pfattner with 85 points.
