Investing in the future
From the beginning, great attention has always been paid to youth work. This is our top priority; we have even anchored this in our association statutes.
Our main discipline is mountain biking.
We take care of children and teenagers from 7 years, and accompany and support them in your development until the age of 22 (race category U23).
Divided into different performance groups, they are encouraged and trained by the certified mountain bike trainers. Depending on age, the trainings take place 1 - 3 times a week, also on the road bike.
Except for 1 month in winter (rest in October), youth training is offered almost year-round; very popular is the indoor gymnastics for children, which we offer for 2 years in addition. This is rounded off with running sessions 1x per week.
In addition to the training sessions, the young athletes are accompanied and coached to the various races (South Tyrol or Northern Italy and neighboring countries).

Youth Training Camp
In 2022, the DBT organized for the first time a MTB training camp before the start of the season for the youngsters from 13 years. This idea was very well received, and will be included as a fixed component in the annual program of youth work.

MTB Kids Course
Introductory course for children
Exercise in childhood forms the foundation for (lifelong) sporting activity.
We offer an annual MTB course for children from the age of 7. They learn how to use a mountain bike in a playful and versatile way together with other children. They also learn important traffic signs and rules - today's child is tomorrow's road user.
The course takes place once a week every year from April to the beginning of May. After the course, interested kids can become an active part of the team, with sport-specific team training in the VSS training group 2x per week in age- or performance-appropriate groups - and the possibility of participating in the first races (not compulsory).
MTB technique course for adults
Adults (beginners or slightly advanced) learn the basics of mountain bike riding technique. The Rungg sports zone and the adjacent Montiggler forest are the ideal place to learn and practise the basic position on the bike, cornering and braking techniques as well as how to ride over obstacles.
Further courses will follow if there are enough participants or on a fixed date: below you will find the next dates.
A constant test of strength
The racers of the Dynamic Bike Team - from the youngest to the older and more experienced - take part in various MTB and road bike races every year. These certainly include the MTB race series VSS/Raiffeisen Jugend Trophy and MTB Raiffeisen Südtirol Cup.
We also organise a few races ourselves each year: the MendelRace - opening race of the popular race series for amateurs Südtirol.Berg.Cup - as well as one of the stages of the MTB Kids Race VSS/Raiffeisen Jugend Trophy.
And not to forget our annual club race: there we crown the club champion - for adults as well as youth.
Mountain race for amateur racing cyclists; from Eppan (410m) to the Mendel Pass (1,363m).
